According to Howard Balzer, the Ravens brought in seven free agents for workouts on Tuesday including QB Stephen Morris.
The full list of tryouts for the Ravens includes:
- TE Evan Baylis
- TE Gabe Holmes
- TE Henry Krieger-Coble
- CB Dante Blackmon
- CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste
- S Bennett Jackson
- QB Stephen Morris
Of this group, the Ravens signed Holmes and Jean-Baptise to their practice squad.
Morris, 25, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as a priority undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May of 2014. He was unable to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was later signed to the Jaguars’ practice squad.
The Eagles claimed him off of waivers a few days later but he would later finish out the year with the Colts. Morris returned to Indianapolis this past January on a future/reserve contract but was once again waived coming out of the preseason.
Morris has yet to appear in an NFL game.
