The Baltimore Ravens announced Tuesday that they have placed CB Dominique Franks on waivers.
Baltimore re-signed Franks to a contract just a week ago, but it appears as though the poor performance against the Steelers was enough for them to look for alternative options.
Franks, 26, signed a one-year, $730,000 contract with the Ravens back in June, but he was later released before the start of the season.
Franks was a fifth-round pick of the Falcons back in 2010. During his four years in Atlanta, Franks recorded 25 tackles, three interceptions and nine passes defensed.
