The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they’ve waived CB Victor Hampton following his arrest on DWI charge.
Hampton was pulled over for speeding, as he was going 100 mph in 55 mph zone. The two passengers in his car were also cited for carrying concealed weapons.
Hampton, 22, signed a reserve/future contract with the Ravens back in January.
According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Hampton will free up $435,000 in available cap space while creating no dead money.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
