Ravens Waive QB David Olson, Sign QB Josh Woodrum

The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they’ve waived QB David Olson and signed QB Josh Woodrum to a contract.

Woodrum, 24, signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Liberty but was unfortunately waived after the team signed QB B.J. Daniels to their roster.

The Colts signed him to a contract back in May of last year but cut him loose a few months later. It wasn’t until November that he got another opportunity by signing on to the Bears’ practice squad.

During his four-year college career at Liberty, Woodrum threw for 10,266 yards while completing 63.9 percent of his passes to go along with 61 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. He also contributed 228 yards rushing and 16 rushing touchdowns.

Olson, 25, is an undrafted free agent out of Clemson. He played in the Champions Indoor Football league before signing on with the Ravens last week.

During his college career at Clemson, Olson appeared in two games and completed one of three passing attempts for -1 yards during the 2014 season.
