Ravens Waive TE Ryan Taylor, Promote TE Phillip Supernaw To Active Roster

The Baltimore Ravens placed TE Ryan Taylor on waivers Saturday and promoted TE Phillip Supernaw to their active roster, according to Jamison Hensley.

Baltimore claimed Tayl0r off of waivers from the Green Bay Packers a few weeks ago, but didn’t play a single snap for the Ravens.

Taylor, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back in 2011 out of North Carolina. He was entering the final year of his rookie contract.

Over the course of his four years with the Packers, Taylor has appeared in 50 games and caught eight passes for 45 yards receiving and a touchdown. He was a regular contributor to the Packers’ the special-teams unit since entering the NFL.
