Ravens Waive WR Michael Campanaro From Injured Reserve

Jeff Zrebeic of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens are waiving WR Michael Campanaro from injured reserve on Monday with an injury settlement.

  • According to Zrebiec, the hope would be for the Ravens to re-sign him after Week 9.

Campanaro, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Ravens back in 2014. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2.287 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season when the Ravens waived him with an injury designation.

Campanaro later reverted to the Ravens’ injured reserve list after clearing waivers.

In 2015, Campanaro appeared in four games and recorded five receptions for 35 yards receiving to go along with two carries for 17 yards rushing and a touchdown.
