Ravens Worked Out Four Players Including CB Loucheiz Purifoy

According to Howard BalzerĀ and Jamison Hensley, the Baltimore Ravens brought in four players for tryouts this week including LB Houston Bates, WR Jeremy Kerley (NFLTR), CB Jonathon Mincy and CB Loucheiz Purifoy.

Purifoy, 24, originally signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2014. Indianapolis wound up waiving him and was claimed off waivers by the Seahawks.

Seattle waived him with a failed physical designation after a few days. He was suspended four games by the NFL due to a substance abuse violation after becoming a free agent, then was suspended another 10 games in 2015 due to his second substance abuse violation.

Purifoy signed with the CFL’s BC Lions in March of last year.

In 2014, Purifoy appeared in 11 games for the Colts and recorded seven total tackles, one forced fumble, and one pass defense.

Mincy, 25, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in 2015. He was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason and signed on with the Montreal Alouettes in time for the 2016 CFL season.

During his two years with Montreal, Mincy has recorded 108 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles over the course of 32 games.

At Auburn, Mincy totaledĀ 211 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a recovery and 27 pass defenses over the course of four seasons.
