Ravens Worked Out 3 Players Including LB Ricky Sapp

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Ravens brought in LB Ricky Sapp, LB Chris Carter and DL Nordly Capi for workouts on Monday.

Baltimore elected to sign Carter to their active roster and add Capi to their practice squad.

Sapp, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2010, but he lasted just one year with the team before he was cut loose. Sapp later signed on with the Jets where he played for three years.

The Texans claimed him off of waivers in November of last year, but he was later released in November. Sapp signed a future/reserve contract with the Redskins last year, but wound up being among their final roster cuts.

In 2014, Sapp appeared in three games and recorded three total tackles.
