Redskins Activate TE Jordan Reed From PUP List

The Washington Redskins announced Sunday that they’ve activated TE Jordan Reed activated from PUP list.

The Redskins placed Reed on the PUP list back in July with a toe injury.

Reed, 27, was taken in the third-round of the 2013 NFL draft by the Redskins. He was in the final year of his rookie contract when he signed a six-year, $48 million deal that included $22 million guaranteed with Washington last year.

Reed stands to make base salaries of $3.75 million and $8.25 million over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2016, Reed was limited to appearing in 12 games and catching 66 passes for 686 yards receiving and six touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 6 tight end out of 62 qualifying players.
