Update:

The Washington Redskins announced that CB Josh Norman was being evaluated for a right wrist injury, but has returned to the game.

Redskins CB Josh Norman left Sunday’s Week 5 game against the Ravens with an apparently arm injury.

Norman collided with Ravens WR Mike Wallace and was down for a period of time before being taken to the locker room for further evaluation. Norman is questionable to return to today’s game.

David Chao mentions that the worst-case scenario for Norman is that he has a shoulder subluxation/dislocation.

Norman, 28, signed a five-year, $75 million contract that includes $36.5 million guaranteed with the Redskins after the Panthers surprising rescinded his franchise tag, making him a free agent. Norman stands to make a base salary of $5 million for the 2016 season.

Entering today’s game, Norman has appeared in four games and recorded 23 tackles, one interception, a forced fumble and eight pass defenses for the Redskins. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 11 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.

We’ll have more regarding Norman as the news is available.
