Redskins Claim OL Vinston Painter Off Waivers From Dolphins

The Washington Redskins announced Monday that they’ve claimed OL Vinston Painter off of waivers from the Dolphins.

Painter, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He lasted just over a year in Denver before he was waived and later signed to the Browns’ practice squad.

After a brief stint with the Giants, Painter signed on to the Dolphins practice squad midseason last year and returned the team on a future’s deal. However, he was waived a few days ago.

In 2014, Painter appeared in three games for the Browns.
