Redskins Considering Adding Raheem Morris To Their Staff

It was just a few days ago that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers choose to cut ties with head coach Raheem Morris following a largely disappointing season that included a ten-game losing streak to close out the season but it appears that Morris has a new opportunity already.

NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora reports that the Washington Redskins are considering bringing in Morris to take over as their secondary coach.

La Canfora adds that the Steelers could also be another option for Morris as he has ties to Mike Tomlin.

This appears to be a good option for Morris to take a step back and rebuild his image. He’s worked as a secondary coach in the past and was very good at it. Maybe a few years down the line he’ll find himself back in contention for another head coaching job.
