After Miami cut hism loose at the start of the 2011 season, Baker signed on to the Redskins’ taxi squad has spent the past five years in Washington.

He’s now in a position to be one of the best interior defensive linemen in this year’s free agent class.

In 2016, Baker appeared in all 16 games for the Redskins and recorded 48 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 18 interior defensive lineman out of 127 qualifying players.
