Redskins Expected To Meet Robert Griffin III Several Times Leading Up To The Draft

Chick Hernandez of Comcast SportsNet reports that Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan will not only be visiting Baylor QB Robert Griffin III tonight, but he’ll also meet with the Heisman Trophy winner a “couple times each week for next several weeks.”

Michael David Smith of PFT writes that the new collective bargaining agreement will the Redskins to spend more time with a player that hasn’t even been drafted yet, than someone on their current roster.

If this report is accurate, it’s an obvious indication that the Colts are certain to take Andrew Luck with the first overall pick. Griffin will get the opportunity to get a head start on the Redskins playbook before the start of training camp.
