NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora reports that league executives believe that the Redskins will “make a move” up to #2 and take Baylor QB Robert Griffin III

So far there has been plenty of speculation that a number of team could look to do the same. Cleveland and Miami are also believed to have interest in RGIII but if the Redskins are interested as La Canfora’s sources believe, it could be hard to beat them out.

Washington is also believed to have interest in Matt Flynn and Peyton Manning depending on whether or not he’s available and healthy. Flynn has a connection in Miami and the question marks surround Manning makes it hard to guesstimate whether or not he’ll be an plausible option.

Depending on what happens during free agency, the Redskins could be the most aggressive team at the top of the draft.
