Redskins Express Interest In WR Marquise Goodwin

According to the Master Tesfatsion of the Washington Post, the Redskins have expressed interest in free agent WR Marquise Goodwin.

The Redskins are expected to lose WR DeSean Jackson in free agency, which would leave them without a deep-threat option. Goodwin has very impressive speed and could be a value option for teams in the market for a deep-threat.

Goodwin, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Bills back in 2013. He’s played all four years in Buffalo and is now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time.

In 2016, Goodwin appeared in 15 games for the Bills and caught 29 passes for 431 yards receiving and three touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 94 receiver out of 115 qualifying players.

We’ll have more regarding Goodwin’s market as the news is available.
