Redskins “Highly Likely” To Release CB DeAngelo Hall, Could Cut Santana Moss Too

Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports that “people close to the situation” believe it’s “highly likely” that the Redskins will part ways with CB DeAngelo Hall.

Jason La Canfora reports that you can add WR Santana Moss to the list of possibly roster cuts for Washington.

There’s been speculation that his move could be coming for months now given that Washington has some cap issues and releasing Hall would free up $8 million.

Hall is reportedly willing to take a pay cut to remain with the team, but the team mentioned that they wanted to hold off on doing some until they a better idea of whether or not they would be able to recoup some of the $18 million in cap penalties.
