Redskins Interest In QB Matt Flynn Overstated?

Mike Jones of the Washington Post simply states that the Redskins “aren’t believed to have much interest” in Packers QB Matt Flynn. Jones actually mentions that Kyle Orton could be “the next best option” for them.

There have been contrasting reports on the team’s interest in Flynn over the last month so we will probably not have a great idea of the team’s plans until a few weeks before the start of free agency. Early today we posted that the Redskins are interested in Peyton Manning but there are a number of question marks to be answered before that’s a plausible option. Orton is an interesting idea but this is the first that we’ve heard about him being an option for Washington.
