Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports that the Redskins have “some interest” in Bengals free agent S Reggie Nelson.
- Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reported that Nelson has interest from the Vikings and Buccaneers.
- According to Robinson, the Bengals aren’t interested in re-signing him.
Nelson, 32, played out his contract and is now in position to test the open market in the coming hours as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2015, Nelson appeared in all 16 games and recorded 77 tackles, eight interceptions, two forced fumbles, and 14 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 9 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
