Redskins Place OT Geron Christian On IR, Activate DB Joshua Holsey From NFI List

The Washington Redskins officially activated DB Joshua Holsey from the non-football injury list and placed OT Geron Christian on injured reserve.

Redskins HC Jay Gruden announced earlier in the day that Christian suffered a season-ending knee injury, so this move was expected.

Christian, 22, was selected with the No. 74 overall pick by the Redskins in the third round of this year’s draft. He agreed to a four-year, $3,428,992 contract with the Redskins that includes a $968,992 signing bonus.

In 2018, Christian was active for two games.

During his three-year college career at Louisville, Christian started 39 games and received all-ACC honors in 2015 and 2016.
