The Washington Redskins officially placed OT Kevin Bowen on injured reserve Friday after he passed through waivers on unclaimed.
Bowen, 23, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of East Central back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Redskins and stands to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.
Washington waived him with the injury designation on Thursday.
During his senior year at East Central, Bowen was named to the 2015 All-Great American Conference First Team.
