Redskins Placing DL Arthur Jones On IR, Promoting WR Maurice Harris & DL Brandon Banks

John Keim of ESPN reports that the Redskins are promoting WR Maurice Harris and DL Brandon Banks to their active roster on Saturday. The Redskins are also placing DL Arthur Jones on injured reserve.

Ben Standig reports that the Redskins are waiving OL Tyler Catalina.

Jones, unfortunately, suffered a dislocated his shoulder in his first game with the Redskins, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise.

Jones, 31, is a former fifth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2010. He played out his four-year rookie contract with the Ravens before signing a five-year, $33 million contract with the Colts and was set to make a base salary of $6.25 million for the 2017 season when the Colts released him this past March.

The Redskins signed him to a contract a few weeks ago.

In 2017, Jones appeared in one game but did not record a statistic.
