Redskins Plan On Re-signing LB London Fletcher
Washington Redskins GM Bruce Allen mentioned that they intend to bring back MLB London Fletcher next season.
“We want to, we want to–and he wants to come back,” Allen said, via Redskins.com. “We’re just waiting for the season to finish, and then we’re gonna take care of business. He’s a captain. We want our captain back.”
Fletcher, 36, continued to produce at a high level despite his age and wound up making his third straight Pro Bowl this season. In fact, Fletcher has never missed a game in his NFL which is absolutely astounding when you consider that he’s played in the middle of a defense for fourteen seasons.
