Redskins pondering cutting L.J. and Willie?

We have already heard that Willie Parker is a long shot to make the team but Jason Reid of the Washington Post suggests that the Redskins could cut Larry Johnson as well or instead of Parker.

Larry Johnson has struggled with his pass protection early on and has yet to show any signs of being effective in the preseason. Reid mentions that a team source has indicated that the Redskins may be willing to keep Ryan Torain and Keiland Williams as backups. Both Parker and Johnson are set to make very little money so cutting them will not cost them that much. Washington could look to acquire a running-back that is cut within the next week and a half.
