Redskins Promote WR Darvin Kidsy To Active Roster

The Washington Redskins officially Redskins promoted WR Darvin Kidsy to their active roster.

Washington could use some depth at receiver, given that Josh Doctson (back) and Maurice Harris (concussion) are questionable for Saturday’s game.

Kidsy, 23, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Southern back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract, but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Redskins later re-signed Kidsy to their practice squad after he cleared waivers.

During his college career at North Texas and Texas Southern, Kidsy caught 86 passes for 1,058 yards receiving and five touchdowns over the course of 48 games.
