Redskins Re-Signing DL Cullen Jenkins

Ben Standig of of Breaking Burgundy first reported that the Redskins are re-signing veteran DL Cullen Jenkins on Tuesday.

Jenkins, 35, began his NFL career with in Green Bay where he played seven years for the Packers. Jenkins departed for the Eagles in 2011 and later signed on with the Giants as an unrestricted free agent back in 2013.

The Redskins signed Jenkins to a one-year deal a few weeks ago. However, he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

Last year, Jenkins appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and recorded 26 tackles, three sacks, and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 103 interior defender out of 123 qualifying players.
