Redskins Ready To Shift Focus To Robert Griffin III?

The Washington Post reports that the Redskins are getting the feeling that they have a better shot a trading up for Baylor QB Robert Griffin III with the Rams than they do to sign Peyton Manning.

The report mentions that Manning feels that “there are a few significant issues” regarding the Redskins but their source wouldn’t go as far to say that Manning would not be willing to sign with them.

It’s widely believed that the Redskins are the favorites to trade up for RGIII as the Browns have been reluctant to meet the Rams compensation demands. Recent reports have suggested that the Browns are not willing to include their #22 overall pick which could be a sticking point for trade talks and end up tipping the deal in favor of the Redskins.
