Redskins Release DB Justin Rogers From Injured Reserve

The Washington Redskins officially released DB Justin Rogers from their injured reserve list on Thursday, according to the NFL transactions release.

Rogers, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Bills back in 2011. He lasted two years with the team before he was waived and later claimed by the Texans.

Since then, he’s played for the Dolphins and Chiefs before joining the Redskins in December of last year. Washington elected to bring Rogers back during free agency, but unfortunately placed him on injured reserve a few weeks ago.

This season, Rogers has appeared in one game and recorded four tackles for the Redskins.
