Redskins S LaRon Landry An Option For The Chiefs?

 

Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com sees Redskins S LaRon Landry as a free agent option for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Looney mentions that injuries to Eric Berry and Jon McGraw “left the Chiefs extremely thin at safety last season.” He mentions that adding some addition depth to the safety position would be wise for them to consider.

Berry was lost for the year after he torn his ACL early on in the season but Landry will come with even more question marks. Last week reports came out that Landry chose to pass on surgery to repair his Achilles tendon because he was concerned that it could limit the range of motion in his foot but this went against the Redskins doctor’s recommendations. There’s no doubt that he’s a very talented player but injuries concerns could have an impact on the kind of offers that he’ll receive on the open market.
