Redskins Sign 3 Players To Practice Squad Including WR LaRon Byrd

The Washington Redskins announced Monday that they’ve signed three players to their practice squad including WR LaRon Byrd, LB Carlos Fields and DL Anthony Johnson.

Byrd, 24, signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2012. He lasted just a few months in Arizona before the team ultimately waived him.

Since then, Byrd has played for the Cowboys, Browns, Dolphins and most recently for the Falcons.

He, unfortunately, suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in early December that led to him being placed on the injured reserve list with a practice squad designation.

Byrd appeared in one game last season.
