Redskins Sign Draft Picks

The Redskins announced the signing of six draft picks on Friday. The group consists of G Spencer Long, CB Bashaud Breeland, WR Ryan Grant, RB Lache Seastrunk, TE Ted Bolser and K Zach Hocker.

Washington still has yet to sign second-round pick OLB Trent Murphy and OT Morgan Moses, but there is a good chance that they could be under contract before the end of the week.

Breeland was a great value pick in round four as some draft evaluators believed he could be selected in the second round. Over the course of three years at Clemson, Breeland totaled 136 tackles, 8.5 for a loss, three sacks, six interceptions and two forced fumbles.

Seastrunk was a five-star recruit coming out of high school, but he would later transfer to Baylor. He produced 2,189 yards rushing on 289 carries (7.57 YPC) and 18 TDs for the Bears over the course of two years.

It’s interesting to note that Seastrunk had more dropped passes (10) than receptions (9) during his college career.
