Redskins Sign First-Round Pick OL Brandon Scherff

The Washington Redskins announced the signing of first-round pick OL Brandon Scherff on Tuesday.

According to OverTheCap.com, Scherff’s contract is projected to be a four-year agreement worth $21,215,638 and includes a signing bonus of $13,689,556.

With Scherff under contract, the Redskins have officially locked up their entire 2015 draft class.

Scherff was an interesting selection by the Redskins, seeing as USC DL Leonard Williams was still on the board, but he could very well be an impact player for Washington. It looks like the Redskins will give Scherff the opportunity to play offensive tackle, even though some believed he was better suited to play guard in the NFL.
