Redskins Sign LB Ron Thompson Jr. & OL Kendall Pace, Cut Two

The Washington Redskins announced Sunday that they’ve signed OL Kendall Pace and LB Ron Thompson Jr. to contracts.

Thompson, 24, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Syracuse back in May of last year. Unfortunately, Thompson was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list.

However, the Colts cut him loose with an injury settlement soon after.

During his college career, Thompson recorded 87 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, 12 sacks, six forced fumbles, a recovery and 10 pass defenses over the course of 33 games.
