The Washington Redskins announced that they’ve signed OLB Chris Carter to a contract on Thursday.
Carter, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2011. He lasted just over three years in Pittsburgh before he was waived and later signed by the Colts.
After a brief stint with the Bengals, the Ravens signed him to a contract towards the end of 2015 and brought him back during free agency. The Ravens cut Carter loose back in October before he signed on with the Colts and finished out the year in Indianapolis.
In 2016, Carter appeared in 14 games and recorded eight tackles and no sacks for the Ravens and Colts.
