Redskins Sign S Akeem Davis To Their Practice Squad

The Washington Redskins have signed S Akeem Davis to their practice squad on Wednesday, according to Aaron Wilson.

Washington waived Davis and CB Richard Crawford on Tuesday, which opened up a roster spot for DB Greg Ducre, who was signed off of the Chargers’ practice squad.

Davis, 24, signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis back in April. He eventually ended up on the team’s practice squad at the start of the year, but was later added to their active roster in time for their Week 1 match up.

He has appeared in four games and recorded five total tackles this year.
