Louis-Jean, 22, signed on with the Bears an an undrafted free agent out of Boston College last year. He was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but he later signed to the team’s practice squad and wound up appearing in a number of games last season.

The Bears elected to re-sign Louis-Jean to a two-year contract back in February, but he was unfortunately among their roster cuts at the start of the season.

The Redskins signed him to their practice squad last week.

In 2014, Louis-Jean recorded nine tackles and a pass defense over the course of nine games for the Bears.
