Redskins Signing WR Corey Washington To Practice Squad

Jordan Raanan of NJ.com, citing a with knowledge of the situation, reports that the Redskins are signing WR Corey Washington to their practice squad on Monday.

Washington, 23, originally signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Newberry back in May of last year. He lasted just a few weeks with the Cardinals before he was waived and later claimed by the Giants.

Unfortunately for Washington, he was among the Giants’ final roster at the start of the regular season and was later waived from the injured reserve list with an injury settlement.

In 2014, Washington appeareed in 14 games for the Giants and caught five passes for 52 yards receiving and a touchdown.
