Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan mentioned that they’re still hoping to re-sign RB Tim Hightower.
“We’re trying to re-sign Hightower,” Shanahan said, via the Washington Times. “You’re just hoping that he comes back full speed from his knee with the ACL. But, yeah, he’s a potential starter on our football team.”
Hightower is coming off of a torn ACL so there will definitely be some questions regarding ability, but considering the current market for veteran running backs, he could end up be a decent option that will most likely require a minimum salary.
