Redskins Waive CB Robertson Daniel From Practice Squad

The Washington Redskins announced Tuesday that they’ve waived CB Robertson Daniel from their practice squad.

The Redskins’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OT Isaiah Williams
  2. WR Maurice Harris
  3. WR Kendal Thompson
  4. TE Wes Saxton
  5. RB Mack Brown
  6. DE Bobby Richardson
  7. C Ronald Patrick
  8. DB Tye Smith
  9. DB Robertson Daniel
  10. DT Joey Mbu

Daniel, 24, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May of last year. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason but was later signed to the Packers’ practice squad.

Green Bay would eventually call him up towards the end of last year. However, he was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. Daniel briefly returned to the Packers’ practice squad before being cut loose a few weeks ago.

The Redskins signed him to their practice squad in recent weeks.

During his college career at BYU, Daniel recorded 112 tackles, one sack, three interceptions, two forced fumbles, two recoveries and 19 pass defenses.
