Redskins Waive Seventh-Round LB Steven Daniels With Injury Designation

The Washington Redskins officially waived LB Steven Daniels with an injury designation on Monday.

Should Daniels clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.

Daniels, 23, was taken in the seventh-round of this year’s NFL draft. He signed a four-year, $2.581 million rookie contract with the Redskins that included a $77,296 signing bonus.

During his four-year college career at Boston College, Daniels recorded 266 tackles, 10.5 sacks, a forced fumble, three recoveries, three interceptions and four pass defenses.
