Redskins Waive Veteran DT Jordan Hill

The Washington Redskins officially placed DT Jordan Hill on waivers Saturday to free up a roster spot for LS Rick Lovato, who was signed earlier in the day.

Hill, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2009. He was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and later reverted to the injured reserve list before being cut loose over a month ago.

The Redskins signed him to a contract a few weeks ago but elected to cut him loose this past weekend.

Last year, Hill appeared in 10 games for the Titans and recorded 12 tackles and no sacks. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 190 total snaps in 2015.
