The Redskins waived/injured OLB Trevardo Williams on Friday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Arizona claimed Williams off of waivers close to a week ago after the Houston Texans parted ways with the former fourth-round pick.
Williams, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of Texans back in 2013, but was placed on waivers after just one year with the team.
The Cardinals later claimed Williams off of waivers only to waive him just a few days later. After that, he played briefly for the Colts before joining the Redskins in December of last year.
In 2014, Williams appeared in three games for Washington and recorded five tackles and a sack.
