Redskins Worked Out Guards John Jerry, Oday Aboushi & J.J. Dielman

According to Howard Balzer, the Washington Redskins brought in three free agent guards for workouts on Tuesday including Oday Aboushi, J.J. Dielman, and John Jerry.

Jerry, 32, is a former third-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with the Dolphins before signing a one-year agreement with the Giants in March of 2015.

Jerry returned to the Giants again in 2016 on another one-year contract and was later re-signed to a three-year, $10 million deal. Unfortunately, New York released him coming out of the preseason.

In 2017, Jerry appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 36 guard out of 78 qualifying players.

Aboushi, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jets back in 2013. He spent two years in New York before he was cut loose and later claimed of off waivers by the Texans a few weeks into the 2015 season.

Aboushi played out the final year of his four-year, $2.359 million rookie contract before signing a one-year, $975,000 deal with the Seahawks as a free agent last year. Unfortunately, his season ended after he was placed on injured reserve in December.

He signed with the Raiders in July but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

In 2017, Aboushi appeared in eight games for the Seahawks and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 60 guard out of 76 qualifying players.
