Reggie Bush As The Dolphins No. 1 RB?

When asked about his RB Reggie Bush early today Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano responded by saying that “I would think he’s going to have the most touches and the most carries,” per Jeff Darlington.

It was widely assumed that rookie RB Daniel Thomas was going to get the lions share of carries even after Miami traded for Bush but his preseason has been largely disappointing. Bush is in line to be the teams featured running back and even showed the ability to run between the tackles during the teams second preseason game which was his biggest criticism while in New Orleans. There’s obviously a difference between having a good game in the preseason and continuing that kind of success when the games count but you can expect to see him much more than the Thomas once the season is finally underway.
