Reggie Wayne Hoping To Return To Indianapolis Next Season

One of the free agents that the Indianapolis Colts will have to decide on is WR Reggie Wayne who will be thirty-three at the start of the 2012 season.

Wayne thinks that he would be a good fit with the Colts despite their rebuilding plan for next season.

Even if you’re rebuilding, you still are going to need some of the old heads around,” Wayne said, via the Indianapolis Star“Do I think I can play on this team? I do.

Wayne’s 2011 season was pretty lackluster to say the least but it’s hard to say that it was just his fault as the teams quarterbacks consisted of Kerry CollinsCurtis Painter and Dan Orlovsky. Still, Wayne could have done more and there are some concerns about his overall effort. The decision here is really if he can help Andrew Luck out next season and is he willing to do so at a limited cost. If not, Wayne could be looking elsewhere for employment.

We have Wayne listed as the #40 best available free agent in out Top 50 Free Agents list.
