San Francisco released their first depth chart on Saturday and they have Dorsey penciled in as their starting nose tackle. With the news of him being out for the season, Quinton Dial figures to be the next man up for the 49ers.
Dorsey, 29, signed a two-year, $6 million contract with the team last year and has a base salary of $2.3 million for the upcoming season. Dorsey as he will be an unrestricted free agent following the 2014 season.
