Jason La Canfora reports that the 49ers are “making a push” to re-sign free agent CB Tarell Brown.
The 49ers have already taken care of WR Anquan Boldin and have around $10 million in available cap space to work with.
Brown, 29, will be an unrestricted free agent a week from today. He totaled 32 tackles and a fumble recovery for the 49ers last season.
Pro Football Focus rated Brown as the No. 32 cornerback in the league next season. We have him listed as the No. 57 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
