Report: Aldon Smith Stabbed At A Party

The Sacramento Bee reports that 49ers DE Aldon Smith has suffered minor injuries in an incident that occurred at a house party in Santa Barbara, California.

General manager Trent Baalke said in a statement: “We are in contact with Aldon, and thankful that his injuries were not more serious and that he is recovering comfortably.”

Smith was reportedly trying to break up a fight when he suffered minor stab wounds to his shoulder and abdomen.

This isn’t the first time Smith has found himself in the news for the off-the-field related issues. In January, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in Miami Beach.
