Bears Rookie CB Kyle Fuller Has A Broken Hand & A Hip Pointer

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Bears rookie CB Kyle Fuller suffered both a broken hand and a hip pointer during Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.

  • Mike Garafolo confirms the report and adds that Fuller was able to reenter the game after he had a cast put on his hand, but it was the hip injury that knocked him out of the game.

Fuller left the game during the second quarter and despite trying to loosen his hip up on the stationary bike, he was later ruled out for the game.

It’s hard to speculate as to how much time Fuller could miss, but this is obviously disappointing news for a Bears’ defense that could use all the help they can get.

Coming into today, Fuller had registered 30 tackles, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and six passes defended over the course of six games.
