Ian Rapoport reports that the Chicago Bears and free agent OT Jermon Bushrod are finalizing a long-term agreement.
Sean Jenson reports that Bushrod’s deal is a five-year agreement.
The Saints were reportedly trying to retain Bushrod, but the Bears were clearly targeting an offensive tackle and Bushrod probably made the most sense for them given the addition of Aaron Kormer as offensive line coach.
